C&C Advertising ("C&C", "we") is an independent media agency active since 2000, established in Antwerp, Belgium. We are the controller of the personal data processed through this website.

What data we process
This website is a business card, not a data machine. We only process personal data when you choose to contact us:
- Contact by email or phone; your name, contact details and the content of your message.
- Technical data; our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and stability.
We do not buy, sell or trade personal data, and we do not use this website for profiling.
Why and on what legal basis
- Answering your enquiry; our legitimate interest in responding to you, or steps prior to entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f).
- Security of the website; our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe and available (GDPR art. 6.1.f).
- Legal obligations; where bookkeeping or other laws require us to keep records (GDPR art. 6.1.c).
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them, and at most 2 years after our last contact, unless a client relationship follows. Server logs are kept for a short, limited period by our hosting provider. Data linked to contracts and invoicing is kept for the legally required retention periods.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run this website and our business (hosting, email), bound by processing agreements, and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not transfer your data outside the EEA unless appropriate safeguards are in place.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability of your data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just email adm@cc-advertising.be.
If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données, gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
